FlightGear: "FlightGear is the most advanced flight simulation software I have ever seen. You can choose your plane and your airport and off you go. For those of you who like flight simulation, freeware doesn’t get any more amazing than this. I will offer two warnings though. The app is huge. Over 200MB when unzipped. And it does take a bit of time and training to actually learn how to fly. I assume it’s similar to real flying. Have fun flying around the world. Get it here: FlightGear. (Via Read more [...]

Microsoft Releases Messenger 6.0 For Mac: "TUAW reports that Microsoft's MacBU has released Microsoft Messenger for Mac 6.0. Though it's a little disappointing that they still don't have A/V support for Mac, Mary Starman has a blog post up that explains why and assures us that it's coming soon. It's an interesting look into how feature decisions get made for Microsoft's Mac products." (Via MacSlash.) Read more [...]

-image-Panorama Software revisited

in the wee hours
I had intentions on posting a re-review of sorts on Stitcher 5.5. I am having a few problems closing the panorama. Unfortunatley, using DoubleTake and a Canon stitching program, no problems arose. I have dived into the user manual and am sure that something is missing. Why is this supposed power house of an app having issues while the other 2 programs join without a hickup? See for yourself.... DoubleTake: Canon: Stitcher 5.5 (PowerPC) I have attached the test Read more [...]
